 | Things to do: Luaus-Coconut Beach Luau |
Held every evening beneath the swaying palms of the Luau Halau Pavilion, the Hiva Pasefika Luau celebration begins with the nightly torch lighting ceremony. The exquisite grounds abound with an overwhelming Polynesian vibe, which will be apparent the moment you are warmly greeted with a lei, and led to your seat.
Once there, your mouth will water at the unveiling of the Kalua Pig from its underground oven (the Imu). Then you'll enjoy a grand variety of authentic Hawaiian and American specialties at our all-you-can-eat Polynesian buffet, along with delicious bottomless cocktails and tropical punch from the open bar at The Coconut Beach Luau.
The Show: The Coconut Beach Luau invites you to join us on an exciting journey from Tahiti to Hawaii, celebrating in the history, culture and people of this land. Relive the voyages of ancient Hawaiians through the pulsating rhythmic drum dances of Tahiti, feel the spirit of the mesmerizing chants, revel in the beauty and grace of the lovely hula girls telling their stories of Kauai and be entertained by the mischievous (yet playful) nature of the male hula dances. Fall in love again, to the romantic presentation of the “Hawaiian Wedding,” and be enthralled by the daring and skillful fire knife dance. Finally, guests are invited to join in and dance the “tamure.”
